TIC Group is an international business that provides retailers and vendors with a range of innovative and world class services to manage the movement of merchandise backwards through the supply chain.

This process is often referred to as “reverse logistics”.

The types of goods that are brought back include:

  • high-volume, reuseable retail accessories, such as hangers and security tags.
  • consumer goods which have been returned by consumers to retailers, or are sale-or-return stock, or product recalls;
  • computers and other IT equipment for end-of-life processing, recycling or secure destruction.
  • food and grocery lines that are distributed to charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

The TIC Retail Accessories Group operates on a global basis. It has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Atlanta, London, Melbourne and Sydney with warehouse facilities in China, UK, USA and Australia. Numerous manufacturing support facilities are located in 4 continents across the globe.

TIC Reverse Logistics™ is our consumer goods division, and operates throughout Australia. TIC Reverse Logistics works closely with national brand retail customers finding ways to generate higher returns through the processing of consumer goods coming back into the supply chain.

TIC Third Party Services provides warehousing and distribution for retailer assets, while our eWaste division manages end-of-life equipment on behalf of retailers, their suppliers and other businesses.

Every year TIC Group helps retailers and their suppliers better manage inventory at the back of store. Through our range of value-adding services we help divert millions of tonnes of high-tech equipment, retail merchandise and accessories away from landfill, in a sustainable and ongoing demonstration of recycling through reuse, remanufacturing and remarketing.

In April 2008 TIC Group received a Corporate Social Responsibility Award from Tesco for its environmentally friendly hanger reuse solution, which is consistent with Tesco’s green values.
